After winning both the IWGP Heavyweight and IWGP Intercontinental championships, Kota Ibushi unified the titles to create a brand new championship:

The New Japan Pro Wrestling IWGP World Heavyweight Championship.

This belt created by myself was designed by New Japan Pro Wrestling. The basis for the design comes from combining numerous aspects of the 4 previous IWGP Heavyweight belts. There is a picture in the gallery that fully explains this as explained on the NJPW website.

The main plate is 4 layers thick, side plates 2 layers thick including rounded DOMED globes. The tip is a custom CNC milled tip with 2 stacked pieces.

This belt is longer, bigger and heavier than the previous belt coming in near 16lbs!
Over 50 Swarovski crystals are hand set throughout the belt.
The leather strap is custom done featuring numerous custom leather stamps overlapped in such a manner to make it truly one of a kind.
